How to register for an event

 TRIP AND EVENT REGISTRATION

You must REGISTER WELL IN ADVANCE for most of our Trips and Courses. (The main reason being that if we don't see enough interest in an event, we will have no choice but to cancel it).
For day hikes or events that are free, please send an email to the club outdoor(at)mcmaster.ca to register for the trip. Contact information.
Please review our cancellation policy below!
HOW TO REGISTER:

The best way to register for an event is to do it in-person at the DBAC Registration Desk.

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot register participants at the Outdoor Club office.

REGISTER IN PERSON:  (recommended)
Visit the Athletics & Recreation Registraion Desk, DBAC Room WG 101.

Payments can be made by cash, debit, VISA, MasterCard or cheque.

REGISTER BY FAX: (recommended for off-campus participants)
If you are paying by major credit card, you may fax your registration form to the Recreation Office at (905) 777-0126. Find the Intstructional Program Registration Form here.
REGISTER ONLINE: (TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE)
  • PLEASE NOTE: VERY FEW EVENTS AND COURSES ARE AVAILABLE UNDER THE ONLINE REGISTRATION!
  • You will need a bar code number from your McMaster student ID, and a PIN number.
    If you haven't used online registration before, contact ext. 24464 to receive a personal bar code and pin number
  • Visit the McMaster Athletics and Recreation website. 
  • Click on"MY ACCOUNT" and log in using your bar-code and PIN number
  • Click on the  "Activities" tab on the top of the page.
  • Find the trip/course that you would like to register for
  • Enter credit card information and fill out the rest of the fields.

    If you have any questions pertaining to registering online, please give us a call at Ex. 26384 or come visit us at the David Braley Athletic Centre WB125.

  • If you are not a McMaster Student or staff, you will need to contact the registration desk to recieve a bar code and pin number which will allow you to register for Athletics and Recreation programs.  Please contact ext. 24464 to recieve a personal bar code and pin number. 
REGISTER BY MAIL:
Mail a completed Intstructional Program Registration Form to the Recreation Office accompanied with payment by VISA, MasterCard or cheque (payable to "McMaster University", no post dated cheques).

 CANCELLATION POLICY

You can cancel/withdraw from most of our trips up to one week in advance with no penaly.  However, some trips have associated costs that are non-refundable such as plane tickets, transportation or equipment/facility reservations.  In such cases, we will work with individuals to reach a compromise with those persons to cover our non-refundable expenses.
