Waterfalls of East Hamilton Mountain Day Hike
EAST HAMILTON MOUNTAIN & WATERFALL HIKE
MEETING TIME & PLACE:
Saturday October 29
Please meet in front of Mills Library at 9:40 AM. (we will be catching the 9:57 bus from Main and Emerson)
Alternatively, you can meet us at Mountain Brow Loop (See map here) at 11:00 AM , or at the MacNab terminal station at 10:25.
We will take bus #5 from McMaster to the MacNab bus terminal and then bus #21 from the bus terminal to Mountain Brow loop near Albion Falls.
We'll catch the King St. bus on the way back from Battlefield Park.

The trip should return to McMaster around 4:30pm.

HIKE DESCRIPTION:
We will take the HSR from McMaster to Jackson Square and then up the 'mountain' to explore:
- Albion Falls,
- Felker's Falls, and
- Devil's Punch Bowl
Total hiking distance is approximately 8.5km, mostly along the Bruce Trail, which will take us up and down the Escarpment several times.
WHAT TO BRING:
- dress very warm, preferrably with multiple layers that can be removed and added when needed.
- a lunch, maybe snacks (fruit, trail mix)
- enough water or beverages for a day
- hiking boots (It may be muddy)
- rain jacket or wind jacket or pants depending on weather forecast
- camera!

- Battlefield Park - Commemorating the 1812 Battle of Stoney Creek between the British and American troops.
