Warsaw Caves Conservation Area contains the most interesting and extensive network of caves that we know of in Ontario.
Spend 2 days caving, hang out by the  river, rent a canoe or hike during the beautiful Ontario Fall colours season.

Are you itching to do some serious caving in a place where you can spend all day underground and crawl through really tight passages in complete darkness? Do you like looking for hidden passages and discovering new dead-end tunnels? Has your night vision been deteriorating due to lack of use?
Well, itch no more, because we've got just the trip for you!

Warsaw Caves is only 3 hours away and features 7 interconnected caves and other caverns in limestone rock. In addition, there are hiking trails, canoe rentals on the river and a possibility of a great campfire.

WHAT TO BRING

- 2 headlamps, (or one with spare batteries)
- dirty clothes
- large garbage bag for your dirty clothes (for return trip)
- gloves to protect your hands
- knee pads if you have sensitive knees
- dress for the weather (camping at night might be cold)
- bring an instrument! (guitar, harmonica, etc.)

Come to the pre-trip info session listed above, where we will tell you more about the trip, answer your questions and collect everyone's equipment requirements.

COST

$75 DBAC members (Mac students) / $85 non-members
The trip cost includes everything except for coffee/snack stops on the way there and back.

PLEASE NOTE:

Due to the nature of this trip, we feel we need to mention, in addition to the above description, that this event is not for people affected by claustrophobia, fear of bats, dark and the unkonwn.
